Over more than a decade of experience helping clients achieve their financial goals, we’ve noticed a trend. We believe many clients have a solid investment plan, but not much else. Because many financial professionals are compensated based on product sales, they focus solely on investment management.
At Green Peaks Planning, we take a different approach.
It’s our goal to help ensure the different areas of your personal financial life are operating at their peak. To do so, we work with you to develop a custom, comprehensive plan that incorporates the different aspects of your life and finances. We take an education-based approach to help ensure you are comfortable with the recommendations before we implement them. Most importantly, we operate in a fiduciary capacity, which means you can be confident that every decision made is in your best interests.
Meet Our Founder
Bret Hoffman, ChFC®
Founder, Financial Advisor
Bret founded Green Peaks Planning with a vision of helping clients reach the pinnacle of success in the different areas of their personal financial lives. He believes that having a strong investment portfolio is a great start, but long-term success is best achieved when the different aspects of a client’s finances are operating in the green.
Bret has more than 13 years of experience as a financial advisor. Since 2009, he has helped many clients across different walks and stages of life, from CEOs of large publicly traded companies, to new investors just starting on their financial journey. Regardless of who he’s working with, Bret remains focused on providing custom solutions to help his clients work towards achieving their dreams.
Before founding Green Peaks Planning, Bret served as a financial advisor at Edward Jones. He also served as a senior financial consultant at TD Ameritrade. His earliest work experience includes helping his dad install carpet and wash tractors and combines in his home town of Red Cloud, Nebraska. After graduating from high school, he served as a missionary in India and Mongolia.
Bret and his wife, Oyun, have a 13-year-old son named Jagaa. In his free time, Bret enjoys hunting, fishing and playing guitar.
